Tomoko King partners with executives, senior operations leaders, and HR leaders to streamline work, re-engage teams, and strengthen Japan–Canada collaboration. She needed a personal brand that stands out and reinforces her background.
The challenge
​
Tomoko was preparing to launch the next chapter of her consulting practice. While early work had begun on a logo and website, there was a clear need for a stronger strategic foundation and greater consistency across brand touchpoints. The brand needed to clearly articulate Tomoko’s unique value, reflect her credibility and expertise, and support the introduction of her signature offering, The Authentify Alignment Journey™.

The challenge was to refine and align what already existed — bringing clarity to the brand strategy, cohesion to the visual identity, and confidence to how the brand showed up across sales and marketing channels.
​Our approach
​​
We partnered closely with Tomoko to strengthen her brand from the inside out, aligning strategy, identity, and application. Building on her existing vision, we clarified the brand’s strategic foundation — refining audience focus, unique value, key messaging, and tone of voice to create a clear and confident blueprint for growth.
With this clarity in place, we refined the existing visual identity to ensure it fully reflected Tomoko’s credibility and expertise. This included evolving the logo into a versatile logo suite and creating a brand guidelines document to support consistency across digital and print applications. Colour, typography, iconography, and photography direction were carefully curated to support a cohesive, human-centered brand expression.
Finally, we focused on bringing the brand to life through meaningful application. We developed a distinctive program identifier and visual representation of the The Authentify Alignment Journey. To support ongoing marketing and storytelling, we also designed a professional, flexible case study template — complete with a Canva template — making it easy for Tomoko to share stories of impact with confidence.
The results

The refreshed brand for Tomoko King Consulting & Advisory is clear, confident, and cohesive — accurately reflecting both the depth of the work and the optimism of what’s possible.

With a strong strategic foundation, refined visual identity, and practical brand tools in place, Tomoko is now equipped to communicate her value with clarity, launch her signature program with confidence, and grow her business with alignment and ease.
This project is a celebration of thoughtful refinement — where strategy, design, and purpose come together to support meaningful, long-term impact.
We refined Tomoko’s logo to reflect her Japanese Canadian roots, with a cherry blossom and maple leaf branching from the “k” to symbolize alignment, connection, and growth.
